Famed Actress/Comedienne Niecy Nash celebrated her birthday this past weekend at a star-studded bash on Saturday, March 7th in Atlanta. The event was hosted by renowned celebrity photographer Derek Blanks at his new studio loft in the city. Sponsored by Jenny Craig, The Style Network, Nuvo Sparkling Liqueur, and Derek Blanks Photography, the “pink carpet” event was attended by cast members of the hit Bravo reality series, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Grammy Award-winning recording artist India.Arie, celebrity fitness trainer Jeannette Jenkins, and singer Q Parker (of the music group 112), who serenaded Niecy with a soulful rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
Niecy is taping an episode of her popular Style Network home makeover series, “Clean House,” in the Atlanta area. “I definitely feel the love in Atlanta. I had over 200 guests at my party and it was wonderful to celebrate with everyone. The people here are so warm and friendly. It’s truly Southern hospitality at its best,” says Nash.
In addition to “Clean House,” Niecy stars in Comedy Central’s “Reno 911!,” which premieres its sixth season on Wednesday, April 1st at 10:30 pm ET/PT.
