I’m back with Clean House!
Posted by Niecy on October 30th, 2009 under The Blog

Thank you guys for being patient! I am back with Clean House and my new episodes will be airing at 10pm on Wednesday nights. Did you get a chance to see the premiere episode? My mom brought her foolishness to MY house! There were some tears shed as I’m finding my voice as a single woman after my divorce. God has been kind and all is well!!!

I’m now traveling in search of The Messiest Home in the Country! Keep me in your prayers – America is filthy and I’m on a mission to make things better, one fantastic family at a time!!

Xoxo,
Miss Niecy

I love watching Clean House, but only when you are the host. I think you are hilarious and you “make the show”! I’ll have to start watching The Insider now.

Hi Miss Niecy, Good grief! I just found your show last week and can`t seem to get away from episodes… Just “Love” what you people do! I Did feel your pain on a show they showed today with the woman Detective 9sharon and daughter), where they “BOTH” walk out on the wonderful thing you did for them! It must hurt deeply when you guys do all that work and you get someone like them! I just could not believe it! (Show where you rented 7000 sq.ft for all that @#$# they had!!! I wish you`d come to Maine sometime! Your a person we all “Wish” we had in our life, well my life! Your strong-sensitive and caring-you have good advice and manage a full career…I love your positive nature! Oprah doesn`t hold a candle to you! I mean that sincerely…sorry O- but you really do care and you go back and check on some people! Your mission is great! Keep up the love and “Clean House”! Big Hug!!!! VERY Sincerely, Marla (freeport, maine)

Oh my gosh, Neicy I am so glad to hear that you havn’t left Clean House. The other three girl’s just don’t have that DIVA thang goin’ on. They just are’nt down with the foolishness and mayhem. Clean House is Neicy Nash, Trish Suhr, Matt Iseman and Mark Brunetz. I just can’t get into it when it’s not all you guys together. The dynamics between you guys is awesome. You bring peace and organization to even those that don’t appreciate all your hard work. I’m sittin’ at home thinkin’ why in the world did they contact the show if they weren’t willing to do what they need to do. Don’t they watch the show lol? I would love for ya’ll to clean my house but I don’t think it’s quite messy enough judging by your regular clientel. Oh and I know ya’ll would try and make me sell my snoopies that I collect and girl I don’t think there is nothimg you could offer to gift me that would convince me to let go of them, haha. Miss Neicy stay fabulous and thank you so much for puttin’ yourself out there in such a positive light. We as afro american women and girls need to see that.

Hi Niecy. I am from the Philippines and I love watching Clean House aired every Sunday 5:00pm. But lately you have a new companion (I don’t know if this is an old program) and I really miss Allen and Linda. You are a very beautiful woman and I love the way you dress, the way you lift up your eyebrows and wink. You dresses beautifully and I don’t miss any (if possible)of the show.
I am with you in your new status as a single woman. It is better to be single than never having a peace of mind. Keep up the good work Niecy and we really, really love you.

  • Mike Said on November 5th, 2009 at 12:43 am

Niecy – big fan! Just wanted to say that it may take you some time to find your voice post-divorce but when you do…oh, Honey! Look out! Not man-bashing but my divorce truly changed my world for the better! AND allowed me to find the life and the man of my dreams…but only after I’d found my voice. So, keep on keepin’ on, my sister! You can do it! We’ll be watching and cheering for you every step of the way…

By the time someone is in that much mess and foolishness they have some bigger problems then a dirty house. I believe hording is an illness and the family from last season was off the chain. My grown daughters and myself watch your show but only when you are on there. We love you on there and have seen you on other things.
I keep saying to my girls… those people must have everyone in the neighborhood come dump their stuff so it looks really bad. No one could live like that!!! My girls say people do for some odd reason either depression, lack of time, laziness or whatever but people do.

Dang that means I could never have you come to my house unless it was to neaten out my garage and that would take about a half hour. *sigh* I bought an old house and it needs a lot of work. I’m not a neat freek but I’m not messy either.

Oh well, so glad to have you back. Now we are back to all my girls coming to my house for coffee to watch your show!!!

Niecy, I know you worked hard to make your marriage work. I had no idea that you two were divorced. I remember him showing up at several yard sales. So I believe that both of you tried to keep it together. I also knew since the “Clean House” first aired that you were constantly quoting verses from the Bible without finishing it with “Mark 50:60.” It wasn’t necesary. God’s word holds true all the time. I don’t really have too much to say but keep doing what you’re doing. Your kids are turning out great. Your mom is in your corner rooting you on. And God is in control. I love that you aren’t afraid to be Niecy Nash sassy and sexy but clean. I will always remember your example. There are plenty of Christians like myself who need someone to say it is okay to be a little sassy in your ways, just remember who your Daddy is and you will never cross the line. Love you!!!! Dearest, Dearest Miss Niecy,
I got so scared that you were leaving Clean House for good. The FOOLISHNESS and MAYHEM just wasn’t the same without you. And you have brought us to tears with your loving warmth when that is what is needed for your “private talks” with the clutterers. You also “READ” when needed to, to the snotty people who treat their loved ones badly. Don’t get me wrong, I love Mark, Matt and Trish, too, but girl, let’s face it. THAT SHOW HAS TO HAVE MISS NIECY. (“I’m going in!!!”). I do believe that “foolishness” and “mayhem” are words that are now being used by America on a regular basis. I know I use them…as well as your “Mmmmm”. I love you. We all love you. You are America’s Sweetheart. And your goodness that emits will keep you (and the crew, I can’t forget them) in my prayers daily, just because of all the joy you have brought me/us. AND from all I’ve learned. You make me a better person. I will stop now so it won’t be a novel to read. GOD BLESS YOU. You have brought joy and inspiration to us even if you are maybe having a bad day or difficult times yourself. (Have you gotten the point that you are my heroine, yet?)
    LOVE YOU LOTS.

Love ya, ms Niecy. How I’d love to meet you in person! But PI is much too far and US is one place I can’t afford to go to. Even if I did I can’t be sure I’d meet you anyway. Guess, hafta content myself just watching ya!

It has been threw 3 generations of children which she took in to raise and now that she has my nephew 15 raising him too he will not even bring no one over to the house cause the house is so messy. Also pepole go in and try to help but just leave bigger messes for her to clean up after them.I totally love my g-ma but don’t want to see her leaving in such a mess anymore she raised her kids their kids and their kids its time for her to be able to relax and enjoy her home can clean house help my granny?

    Dear Miss Niecy,

I have just discovered you and your wonderful personality and style as I am watching ever episode of Clean House that my DVR will record! I adore your team and each episode is inspiring me to give up my foolish ways. I wanted you to know that though you are on the west coast you have helped me here on the East Coast! Like many of your Clean House clients, I sufferED from Tagsale-itis, Thriftshop-Itis, and *Ninetypercentoffitis*!! Because of these illnesses my sweet little home has become a nest of clutter, chaos, and bargains I don’t even like that much! I have begun purging and have brought many many huge black garbage bags full of goods to my local thrift shop. The ladies who run it are thrilled with their new inventory and I am delighting in reclaiming my space. My new question I ask myself when I look at my foolishness is WWND(what would Niecy do?!!) I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for encouraging and inspiring me to make my house my HOME! Much love to you and the whole crew and keep up the wonderful work!

Good to see you back, I love watching Clean House, you and your crew. There are times I wished I was a clutter type of person, so I could have you come in, but I’m not, but my fiance tends to be. I just purchased my first home and it needs some work, watching Clean House gives me lots of ideas! I have an idea for a new show, how about a show called “SOLD”. Idea behind the show, take a house just recently purchased that needs work, have the designers and carpenters come in and voila! Good idea huh, so pick me, pick me!! Best in 2010 to you Niecy and Clean House!

    Hi Niecy,
I’m so happy to see you back on Clean House. Whenever I would turn on Clean House and/or record the show on my dvr, if you were not the host, most of the shows I deleted right away and didn’t even watch them. The gift of counsel and encouragement that you possess, is a gift from God and not just anyone can step in that position and have the same effect. Keeping you, your family and Clean House family in my prayers always.

I am glad you are returning to the show. Even though the show was still enjoyable, it didn’t ring quite as true without your special flair for words and actions. Somewhere out in cyber-space there is floating a message from me that thanked your for helping me through a tough time I was enduring at that time. I began watching your show when I had started dealing with my own mayhem and foolishness. I wish I could say I had/have a problem with bringing new mess into my home, no my problem was/ sorting through the madness and clearing my space for the better. I am a work in progress. But thanks to you and your insightful self, have helped me to forge through my sadness straight into the light at the end of the long tunnel I have been in. Again, thank you for being the match that lit the fire to changing my mayhem and foolishness into the roaring fire of my own calmness and ongoing cleanliness. My home doesn’t resemble yours, however when i’m done with it, it will feel to me like your home looks to the world. Except for the fabulous closets that you and your mother possess. Well, perhaps you and the gang can help me figure out how I can make one oneday. Think about it before you completely reject the idea, I know you are still trying to get a version of your mother’s closet in your room. So I can wait my turn. Again, welcome back, keep smiling, don’t let the monkeys scare you to death. May God continue to bless you and yours. And definitely, keep us all laughing! Pam.

My 29 yr old son Theo suffers with severe paranoid schizophrenia and lives with my ex-husband and second wife. The house is discusting. Both Ted and Paula have great jobs. Ted works with the local phone company and Paula is an X-ray tech. I live in a romm bdrm apt. They live in the same 4 bdrm, 2 bath house Ted and my two children shared as a family. We also have a 35 yr old daughter, Monae, an RN and married with an adopted son of her own. They dwell in their own 3 bdrm 2 1/2 bath home. We live in Denver, Co and Ted’s house is piled with dirty clothes and all kinds of crap. One bdrm, family room and den can not be entered because of all the garbage. They had a yard sale and brought all the unsold crap back into the home. My son needs help. He cannot live in this discusting mess. His mental health is on the line. Please Niecy ask the Lord Jesus to help my son. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. My name is Andrea

Hello Miss Niecy! Just a fan sending compliments!! I have loved you on Reno for years but just picked up on Clean House late last year and I am hooked! I have a thing about cleaning out clutter and getting organized too, so I really enjoy watching the process on your show. I actually have some late and living family members who were/are hoarders. My two best friends have hoarding family members as well, so I guess it’s a lot more common than people know. You and your team are awesome (and so funny) and I love watching all of you!!! You guys are doing great work! Who knew there were so many nasty/cluttered homes in the USA?? It blows my mind!! I love to see the results and how the homeowners react, it’s just wonderful. I’ve seen you do your thang on Reno, saw you helping people get their homes hooked up on Clean House and now I’m watching you tell it like it is on The Insider. You have been handling your biz-niz! Just recently I read some info about your background & I am so impressed by your courage, devotion and insight. Know wonder you are so blessed! A sista with 3 shows on TV at the same time! You deserve a standing ovation!!!
